Chain Tag

Objective

Through cooperation and high-intensity movement, the children in the chain try to tag the others and make the chain longer.

Instructions

  1. Mark out an area for the game.
  2. One child is the tagger and shall try to tag another child.
  3. When a child is tagged, he/she holds the hand of the child who tagged them.
  4. They now try to tag more children to the chain together.
  5. Only the children at each end of the chain can tag the free children.

Variation

  • A variation of the game could be to divide the chain in half each time it consists of, for example, four children, so there are two chains.
