Copycat

Objective

Copycat challenges the children’s creativity in that the children shall think of and lead other children in various exercises. At the same time, the exercises will challenge the children’s motor skills.

Instructions

  1. Create groups with four or five children.
  2. The children in each group line up in a row. The child at the front leads their row and decides which exercises the other children shall copy.
  3. After a short while, the first child runs to the back of the row and the child who is now at the front leads the group and decides the new exercises.

Tips

  • It is preferable that the adult starts leading the game and the children gradually take over.
